Created by California artist Trevor Elliot in 2004 , "The Fingerprint of Place" logo is a meditation on and affirmation of the subjectivity of awareness and taste and the interplay of site in understanding those.   

In other words, what matters to us is what each person perceives, feels and thinks when they drink our wines.

Refined into the current wine bottle design by Dom Roberts at MASH in 2007, Inkwell was featured in the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art’s massive retrospective “How Wine Became Modern” in 2010-11 as one of the world’s best wine bottle designs from 1975-2010.
