From vines planted in 1997 in our treasured Block 1 vineyard, the 2024 Natural Law Shiraz embodies our commitment to farming with nature. As one of the world's few Regenerative Organic Certified® vineyards—and the first in Australia—Inkwell works to restore ecosystems, not just sustain them. Our deep-rooted vines flourish in carbon-rich soils nurtured through cover crops, and compost teas, producing fruit with remarkable vitality and integrity.
This wine reflects our philosophy of minimal intervention. Made without any additions—no sulphites, no fining agents—we use a basket press for gentle extraction, then lightly filter before bottling to ensure natural stability while preserving the wine's pure character.
The 2024 Natural Law Shiraz is medium-bodied with a lithe, refined texture that glides effortlessly across the palate. Bright natural acidity provides the backbone, while fine, supple tannins offer gentle structure without weight. There's a lovely savouriness that weaves through the wine, adding complexity and a long, satisfying finish.
