2023 (release) Inkwell Sweet Jane Late Harvest Fortified Viognier (2x 375ml set)
Beginning with our first vintage making Sweet Thing late harvest fortified Viognier in 2016, we set aside half of the two-year small barrel aged wine to be blended with half of the wine from each of the following years for further ageing in larger format barrels. The result is a now seven-year old solera of vintages that we are releasing as Sweet Jane). As you might expect, Sweet Jane is more concentrated but also nuttier and showing more ginger and sherry notes than Sweet Thing. Wonderful on its own, it is also pretty great with vanilla ice cream or even a dash of sparkling water. Drink now or cellar for up to 10 years.
